I use Elmer's glue, which seems to do just fine. I've got it on two terminals now, and plan to keep on using it. I think I saw it labeled as such somewhere. Some people have surmised it could have been a coal thawing shed though I'm more eager to believe it was indeed a freight shed. However, it would mean the second track seen in its place later (circa 1955) was an addition.
