There is a good post over at Casey Greene's blog showing some hand painted signs found in Helena, MT. The post also has a trailer for a movie about sign painters that looks like it would be a good watch.
Some of the signs I'll probably be making on the HBS will be at the Bethlehem Steel complex, Xzit Chemicals, and Ferguson Propeller. Fletcher was a predecessor to Bethlehem, so I won't be able to make that one. Other building photos I'm looking for that might have had signs are Kelley Springfield Tire Company,U.S. Testing Company, Lightfoot Schultz Company, Fishetto Paper Mill Supplies, Inc.
The Hoboken Historical Museum has a copy of the 1946 industries of Hoboken. Some of these may have had signs visible from the river (or in my case, the aisle).
